Something About the Moon/As If the Sea Were Nothing continues an exploration of landscape based images made in relief and screen mono prints on Japanese Washi. The works continue to explore pictorial space of the Pacific Northwest and are titled after lines from the poetry of Fernando Pessoa. I’m interested in a relationship to the imagery that feels geologic and time-based, tactile but not sure or tangible, like the moon.
This body of work is from 2015.
